Campaign Update & Funding Appeal
Firstly, thank you to everyone who has signed our petition, shared our posts, contacted their elected representatives, or simply helped spread the word. The response has been incredible.
In just a few months, together we have:
✅ Gathered more than 20,000 petition signatures (Online and on paper)
✅ Built a growing community of supporters across Ireland
✅ Generated local and national media coverage
✅ Distributed campaign materials to health food shops nationwide
✅ Begun engaging directly with politicians and policymakers
Most importantly, we have shown that Irish consumers care deeply about maintaining access to the supplements they choose to support their health and wellbeing.
What many people don’t realise is that almost everything achieved so far has been done through volunteer effort. A small group of dedicated people have donated countless hours, skills and resources to get this campaign off the ground.
Now we need to take the campaign to the next level.
Why We Need Funding
Important decisions about the future of vitamin and supplement regulations are being discussed at EU level. We believe Irish consumers deserve a voice in that process.
To ensure our message reaches decision-makers, we need funding for:
- €1,500 – A website tool that will allow people to contact their TDs and MEPs directly through our website
- €2,500 – Professional content creation to explain the issues clearly and effectively
- €6,000 – €12,000 PR and media outreach to bring this conversation to a wider audience across Ireland
